Sandra As far as I know this book is out of print. This is the book I have. Autobiography OF OLD CLAIB JONES by J. W. Hall. I have been told that he goes into my line of Jones' somewhere but haven't figured this out yet. By the way my madien name was Jones . My line came from NC through Va. into Letcher County and then Knott County. I have a Thomas Jefferson Jones that left Knott County in 1906 and went into Oklahoma. Haven't found him in OK. I was told he died in Texas. Pat

Does your research of Jones in Va include a Lewis Jones, son of Charles or John? Lewis would have been born around 1795, I believe, possibly in Albemarle county.. His middle name was Taylor. They settled in Williamson county TN eventually.
