While doing volunteer data entry at our local library in Ontario, California, I came across this obituary which might be of some interest to someone on this list. This does not relate to the Jones line that I am researching personally. Nancy Giles Mrs. Wava Lee Jones, 38, of 230 LeGrand drive, Alta Loma, died today at San Antonio Community hospital, following a two weeks illness. She was a native of Etiwanda. Surviving Mrs. Jones are her husband, Paul M., one daughter, Mrs. K. A. Chormicle, Auburn; one son, Roger L. Dunlap, U. S. Marine at Camp Pendelton; parents, Mr and Mrs. E. L. Marler, Alta Loma; five sisters, Mrs. M. A. Bowman, Ontario; Mrs. Vivian Bowman and Mrs. Icie Goodrow, Alta Loma; Mrs. M. C. Stoebe, Etiwanda; Mrs. Mabel Israel, Upland; one brother, Albert Marler, Alta Loma; three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from Stone Funeral chapel, Upland, followed by interment in Bellevue cemetery. The Daily Report, Ontario, California January 21, 1953
