    2. John Jones Born London England, circa 1810. He first spent 2yrs 10mths as a child on the prison hulk 'EURYALUS' and after his release he stayed free until he reached the age of 18yrs, He was then arrested for picking pockets, his convict indent reads as follows. No 112 Jones John, Age 18yrs. He arrived aboard the convict boat ' MORLEY' (also another John Jones on board but we have confirmed ours). He received his ticket of freedom on the 18 Jul 1836. On the 10 Nov of that year he went to the Female Factory at Parramatta, and out of the line up of convict women he picked himself a wife, the girl he picked was a 20yr old Elizabeth Waters. Marriage Bann No 398, Married at St Johns C/E Parramatta on the 12 Dec 1838, They appeared to have stayed at Parramatta till at least 1845 before John took on the position as a drayman at ' Eurominda ' station on the Macquarie River near Wellington NSW. Some of the children of this marriage are: Elizabeth 1846: William B 1847: Henry B 1848: Mary 1854: Napoleon 1856 I am still trying to trace earlier children but I am having to use on online records and the generous assistance from people to confirm them and I do not like to abuse this generosity. If anyone has access to the records for the EURYALUS & MORLEY I would appreciate details of any information recorded for my man.
