    2. My grandfather's name was Thomas Frederick Jones. His parents were Thomas Jones and Elizabeth Carr. According to the 1881 census the children were listed as William J. Newland, E.J. Newland, H. Albert Newland, Alfred Newland, A. Francis Newland and Phoebe Jane Newland. My Grandfather was born in 1883. Most of the family was born in Middlesex.
