John Litton Jones may have been the ancestor of 5 Jones brothers who migrated to Wilkinson County, Georgia in the 1800-1820 time frame: JOSEPH JONES: (ca. 1756-75 - 1827) has brother Hiram Jones as Executor in 1827. Known children: Frank m. Fannie Burke and moved to Texas; John "Jack" Jones m. Jemima Deason and moved to Texas; Martha "Polly" Jones m. Ambrose Nelson; and John Gabriel Jones m. (1) Nancy Underwood and (2) Mariah Carr. (Named as next door neighbor to Dr. John Taliaferro in John's 1821 will in Wilkinson County, GA.
