Karen, I haven't found a connection but I've looked at Benjamin often. I found him in the 1880 Marshall Co., MS census, age 62, born in NC. That would make him born in 1818 and a good possibility as a brother to my Wyatt. The census indicated wife, MC Jones, age 46 born in Alabama. Children: Son, W.H. age 19, daughter, E.J. age 15, son, T.H. age 10, daughter E.E. age 7, son J.S. age 4, and an Emily Freeman, sister age 68 born in NC. All children were born in MS.
