Sorry it took so long to answer you. I had pnuemonia from a bad case of bronchitis and was not able to do much at all. My Anson Jones so far is not related to the Anson Jones of Texas. Although the dates do look right but his parents are listed intirely differant than mine. I wish it were. Thanks for the message though. I finally found an index that showed his brother Willis Jones in Placer County California and his brother listed in another household next door. I have not been able to actually see the census as this was only an index. but it was for 1870. Thanks again Nancy
