Jones listed as Elizabeth Wortman and has a few generations of her ancestors. Samuel and Elizabeth were married in Stokes County, North Carolina on 29 March 1809. Does anyone know who the parents of Samuel H. Jones were????? Census records would seem to indicate the possibility of Silas or Levy. Census would also seem to indicate other children for Samuel. Any clue for their names??? Since I got this lucky finding the Jones needle in the haystack, I decided to look for the family of Silas Jones wife, Rozina, whose maiden name happens to be Smith - just another needle in the haystack. But luck found its way to me again. Silas Jones married Rozina Smith on 11 December 1856 in Surry County, North Carolina.
