I am sorry, but I forgot to add where Joseph Jones was born and died. (Duh!) I am told that he was b. in Columbia County, SC and died in Cotton Gin Port, Monroe County, MS. At some point in time, his son Irvin moved his family to Tallapoosa County, AL and most of our Jones bunch is stil in AL to this day. If anyone can help, please email me at the address below.
