It seems we have some new people on the list so I'm posting this name in case anyone has ever heard of him. Wyatt Hawkins Jones, b.1822 and according to numerous census was born in NC. He was in DeSoto Co., MS in 1850 with wife, Mary Cornelia ??Goodwin?? but the 1850 census shows her as Permelia. All census I've seen says she was born in TN. They settled in Marshall Co., MS where they died. I've heard from Ed Jones (I believe) from this list who gave me a lead but I can't get in touch with the person he told me about that had some info.
