    3. Let Charley's posting be the last word on this subject. I have suspended three people for continuing the discussion for one week and really hope no one else feels compelled to continue this topic. So let's do something interesting: post your Most Sought After Jones Ancestor to the List. For example: John Jones, Hamilton Co., TN died about 1830 = looking for his burial site. Put something relevant to your posting in the subject line (please don't recycle the previous message subject!). Give us who, what, where & when. 3. Seeking birth/baptism record of John and Thomas (twins) JONES born October 24, 1835 at Bron Cynhinfa near the Parish of Llangyniew in mid-Wales. Their siblings were baptised in a number of parishes all within 8 miles of Bron Cynhinfa. The family was non-conformist (Independent-Congregationalist). John's obituary says he was born in 'Lanfair" (sic).I have researched all the Bishop's transcripts of other parishes and have even asked for assistance from the research service of the National Library of Wales. If anyone has a tip or advice I would appreciate it Walt Jones Spokane WA USA ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kathi Jones-Hudson" <mdcat.geo@yahoo.com> To: <JONES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, October 25, 2002 12:41 AM Subject: [Jones] List Administrative Issue & Most Sought After Jones Ancestor > Let Charley's posting be the last word on this > subject. 1. [Jones] Charles Jones, VA, 1700-1800
    2. Kathy Jones Kristof
    3. My most sought after Jones relative is my gr-gr-gr-grandfather, Charles Jones. The only evidence I have of him is the second marriage certificate of his son, also named Charles. He gave his parents' names as Charles and Mary Jones, both born in Virginia. Charles Jr. was born about 1817 in what became Allegheny County, VA. Other possible children: Frances Ann, John A and Oliver L. I've been looking for Charles Jones Sr for more than five years. I hope someone out there has information about him.
