my Jones is Jacob Jones who married a woman with surname of Byrd/Bird and who is the father of a Frances Fanny Jones who married Major Cole. These Jones would be from the SC and Alabama areas in the early 1800's. Any help would be appreciated thanks, robindilley@prodigy.net
