Hello Listmembers I am hoping you all love a great mystery! My " Mr. JONES" in Mississippi!!! Can anyone shed some light on the Gentleman and his family. Its a long shot, as I only have his son's name. May be more children I can't even say for sure.... so my Genealogy Friends- here goes! My Mr. Jones born in Mississippi married his lady ( name unknown) born in North Carolina- had a son JACKSON PINKNEY JONES Born November 17, 1866 In Mississippi He married Rachel OWENS abt 1870....they had a daughter MINNIE C JONES born abt 1881 Mississippi. Minnie JONES married JAMES C CORDELL. Will appreciate any help here. They should be on the 1880 census Mississippi but I have no way of knowing which county or township. Maybe one of you are reseaching this family or have come acorss this family while researching your own JONES clan...
