Hi list Have reached a standstill with my 'Jones' tree. All help very much appreciated. Have found gg grandfather on 1881 census listed as John C Jones b.1820 Hull, York aged 61 ladies boot maker, my gg grandmother Maria b.1827 Northampton and my ggrandfather Henry as a 13yr old french polisher. Searches for marriage between John and Maria only turn up Mary's?. Am unable to unearth any John C Jones born Hull or 1820 and have even checked out French Polishers with no info. Help please...........where to look next? for confirmation of a Maria Lynda
