Hello listmembers Anyone out there have any Jones family from Mississippi abt the time of 1860-1870? Jackson Pinkney Jones b 1866 Mississippi mother : Lena ( short for ?) father: deceased by 1880 name unknown. I tried to research the 1870 census for this family, but the FHL film was in such bad shape I could not read it. Saw many JONES listed but could nto make out the rest of the names to light or fuzzy........ In 1880 they were living in Franklin Co does this help at all?
