Let's try this on for size: Thomas Franklin Jones and John Litten/Letton Jones were brothers and each of them had a John Letton/Litton around the same time. I believe that the two records you have of the John Lettons are of father, John Letton, and one of the John Letton Jones, II's. Have I confused you enough...I know my head is spinning.
