I need help in finding the parents of Arthur Ross Jones...He was born in SC, York District, in 1826...His father was born in VA, his mother was born in SC. Arthur was married twice, the last time to Eliza Ann Hill, who was born in NC in 1840...I think his first wife was Enida Williams... The 1880 census shows him in AL., Jefferson County, with 3 older boys at home, Thomas, 28, Benjamin, 26, and Japhed, 24...Then came William, 11, Lucy,9, Nancy, 7, James, 5,(My Grandfather) and Arthur, age 2...Arthur Ross gave his occupation as a Miller... There were a couple of children after the 1880 census, Luke and Sharpe...If there is anyone in SC who could find out who Arthur Ross Jones's parents were I would be so grateful...I have had many headaches over this...Thanks, one and all...Lee
