Hi, Like all the Jones', I am having the problem of most. I have hit a brick wall early on. Great grandfather is as far as I can get. Henry Jones - B: abt 1836 in WV Married: Sept 17, 1857 St Francois Co., MO Louisa E. Armon - B: Abt 1836, St Francois Co., MO Children: Clara P, Franklin W., William T., Mary, George W, (my grandfather), Ida Laura. George Washington Jones - B: Feb 22, 1867 in Farmington, St Francois Co., MO Married: Dec. 28, 1897 Wife #1: Meekie/Mickey/Micky Bradley ( Would love to know more about her, this one was a surprise!) #2: Florence M. Morris (my grandmother) - Jan 4, 1873 Farmington, St Francois Co., MO Children: Leroy Delbert, Goldie, Morris Henry, Laura Selma, Martha Louisa, Ida Belle, George Harold, and Benjamin I (my father). If anyone can help me to go beyond Henry I sure would appreciate it. I haven't a clue as to what his father's name is or mothers name. According to the 1880 census, his father was born in WV and mother born in VA. These are the times when I wish I had some other name that isn't quite as well known.
