Judy..... my Joneses are from Chatham County, NC. It doesn't look like they went too far from that base. I am now trying to determine if my GGGgrandpa James was born in Orange or Gates or Chowan. "My" Charles Jones was Charles Minter Walker Jones, son of William Heflin Jones, who was the son of Calvin Sneed Baker Jones. Gotta love those names! Nancy
