While doing volunteer data entry at our local library in Ontario, California, I came across this obituary which might be of some interest to someone on this list. This does not relate to any surname that I am researching personally. Nancy Martha Dora Jones, 82, 414 East C street, died this morning at her home. She had been in failing health for about four years. Mrs. Jones was a native of North Carolina and had made her home in Ontario since 1903. She was a member of the First Baptist church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Don Zimmerman of Ontario, and Mrs. Francis M. Lee of Laguna Beach; a sister, Miss Arla Sanders of Prentice, North Carolina, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Richardson-Peterson mortuary. The Daily Report, Ontario, California May 27, 1952 Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2:30 from Richardson-Peterson mortuary, 123 West G street, for Martha Dora Jones, 82, 414 East C street, who died yesterday at her home. Rev. Earl L. Riley, pastor of Ontario First Baptist church, will officiate. Interment in Bellevue cemetery beside the body of her husband who died in 1942.
