He married POLLY KYLE in 1807 in Botetourt, Virginia. They had 11 children all born in Virginia (Jonesville area near by Wynn's Branch---it was named after the first Wynn settlers in this section) Children: WILLIAM JEFFERSON JONES, was born 29 February 1808 in Lee County, VA. He married RACHEL ANN TOLLEY. SARAH ELIZABETH JONES, was born 1810 or 1812. She died in Tennessee She married ELIJAH PENNINGTON. JOHN BERTRUM JONES, was born 17 October 1813 in Lee Coutny, VA. She married MARY CAROLINE BARCLAY 1838 Alamaba. NANCY JONES, born 1814. She married EZEKIEL ANDERSON abt. 1833 MARY JONES, born 1816. She married SOLOMON WILLIS January 24, 1835 in Tennessee MARGARET JONES bornjune 18,1818 in Jonesville, VA. She married EDWARD PARSONS 1840 in VA. ALICE JONES, born 1820 in Jonesville, VA.
