Hello. I saw your posting to the Jones list, and had to respond out of curiousity. I am reseaching Jones in Oklahoma. I don't know where they came from before that, and I know very little on them. I had wondered if they had at least passed through Missouri on their way to Oklahoma, but it was only an educated guess. But you mentioned Laclede Co, Missouri, of all places, and especially Lebanon. My Jones, specifically Nellie Belle Jones, daughter of Anna, married a Marion Walker Detherage. I have much more info on the Detherages. Marion and Anna's children were born in Laclede County, Missouri, near Lebanon. I know this through family histories in pictures and in letters. That's why I believe my Jones were from Laclede Co, MO, or there about. I don't know Anna's maiden name, or her husband's name. There is one other Jones in the photos, an Etta Jones. I think that her married name is Darnell. Judging by the birth dates and birth places, it looks like my Detherages and Jones moved to Oklahoma after 1908. I do have more on the descendants, and on the Detherage line. It sounds like we have Joneses of the same line somewhere. I would be more than happy to share what I have.
