I have the Jones genealogy for Scott co. right down to modern times and he isn't on it. However, there was another William Jones family there and if I remember right that William Jones was about 7 years older than ours and I believe they did have a descendent by that name. InGenWeb has Scott co. on it and Pat has put several censuses on it. I would suggest you go look. Just put "Indiana genealogy" in your search engine and the web site will come up.
