My ggrandparents were: Zachariah Spencer Hawkins and Elizabeth Caroline Jones Hawkins who lived and died in McDowell County, NC (Bethlehem Cemetery). Zachariah was born in 1838 and Caroline Jones Hawkins died in 1929. I visited their gravesite this past weekend. One row up from them were the gravesites of Hiram and Julia Jones. I have good reason to believe that they were the parents of Caroline Jones Hawkins. I would very much appreciate any information on this family.
