Bea, I am very interested in your Jones line that came from Kentucky to Missouri. I also had my relations go to Missouri for awhile but they came back and settled in Perry County, Ky. I am seeking a William Taylor Jones and a Sefa Bryant-Jones. My third great grandfather was Elijah "Luster" Jones and he married Annie Jane Cox. They had my second great grandfather Luther Henry Jones who married Emma Francis Cox. They in turn had my grandfather Ollie Jones out of Hazard, Perry County Ky. Does any of this sound familiar? Sandra, Do you by any chance ( or any other Jones List member) have a Sallie Jones b. 1793 d.1826(?), dau of Isaac Jones in your Ky. Jones line? If so, you should show that she married a John Bailey. This is the Bailey/Jones/Foister line. If so I have info on this family. My maiden name is Jones, I am a Foister by marriage and so far do not have a Sallie Jones in my line of Jones'.
