While doing volunteer data entry at our local library in Ontario, California, I came across this obituary which might be of some interest to someone on this list. This does not relate to any surname that I am researching personally. Nancy Bead Stuck In Throat Cause of Tot's Death A bead which stuck in her throat led to the death of Wanda Elaine Jones, age 2 and one-half years, daughter of Staff Sgt. and Mrs. Weldon O. Jones at the Air Force Base hospital at Wichita Falls, Texas, yesterday, according to word received by Ontario relatives. The bead caused strangulation and although it was removed in a quick operation, meager information from Wichita said the child's lungs collapsed and doctors were powerless to save her. Wanda is survived by her parents, two brothers, Weldon Jr. and George W. and her grandparents, Tony Starr, Merced, Mrs. Opal Starr, Ontario, and Mr and Mrs. J. W. Jones of Sherman, Texas. Her mother is the former Wanda Mae Starr. The body will be brought to Los Angeles Thursday afternoon by American Airlines plane, thence transported to the J. B.
