I, also, am looking for Jones in MO. I believe that my William H/J Jones was the child of John Jones born in Kentucky/VA. He married Mariah/Maria Pointer/Painter. (We thought it wa Pointer, but I just found a reference that infers that her name was Mariak Painter.
