Jones List Members; I'm new to the list and just recently found the parents of my Sarah (Jones) Hawkins: William Jones and Jael (Jail, Jaily) Graves Jones. I am interested in learning more about this 4ggrandparent, William Jones of Culpeper Co. VA area. William's estate's appraisal was recorded 20 April 1795 (Culpeper Co. VA Will Book D 1791-1803, pp. 157-8). There is also an indenture in regards to Jail Jones, administratrix, and (children) James, Jones, Robert Jones, Nancy Hawkins [widow of John Hawkins], Susanna Jones, James Hawkins and Sarah [Jones] his wife, legatees of William Jones [Culpeper Co. VA Deed Book U, pp 122,123,124--dated 15 October 1798]. I'm a descendant of William Jones through his daughter, Sarah Jones Hawkins--wife of James Hawkins.
