    3. Was Sophronia a common name back then? I don't know who my Jones' ancestors were but I was told that one of them was a Governor, she thought in VA, before the family moved on to TN then into IL then (KS? at least a few of them went that way) and back to KY. I only know about the part where they were living in IL on to present day. The first one I can start with is Wiley B.H. Jones who served in the Civil War and was born in middle TN about 1815. I know where he was living in IL, but not in TN. He married a Minerva/ Margaret Garrett and one of their many children was a Sophronia. I thought that if this was an uncommon name that it may be a clue that our families were connected. 3. I have a Sofronia Covalt b. 1830 (probably in Tyler Co., WV) which borders Harrison County, WV and a Josiah Jones in Taylor County, which also borders Harrison County, WV. I've seen Josiah frequently, but Sophronia/Sofronia, etc. is not a common name. Too, remember that WV did not become a state until 1863, so people born before 1863 usually said they were born in VA, even thought they were now living in WV in the same house in which they were born. 3. This is Cathy Bell and thanks for the reply on Jones. I don't know anything about my Sarah Jones except what I typed on this. I'll print this out and keep it for future reference. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Susanne B.
