Yes, I tried his other names, looked for William and Bill Jones, Ed and Edward, Steve, Steven, Stephen, etc. He was shown on the 1880 and 1900 simply as Steve, so that's how I would expect to find him, but I did try the others. Does anyone know of an index to the 1910 census other than Genealogy.com? There, you have to wade through all the census years just to find the 1910's mixed in, unless there's another way to do it that I haven't learned. Ancestry.com has only the Miracode.
