Anyone have any information on Joseph Jones, his sons, Lewellen and John Jones; his grandchildren, Fanny Allen Jones; Stephen, William & Joseph Jones? Are K.S. Jones and A.B. Jones, related to Joseph Jones? I recently received copies of probate papers of my supposed ancestor, Joseph Jones, who died in 1863 in Marion Co., TX, and am trying to learn more about other people mentioned in the probate papers. The Administrator of the will of Joseph Jones, was William H. Haywood, who was married to Eliza Jones, daughter of Joseph Jones. The 2nd item in the will shows: "2nd. I will and direct that Fanny Allen Jones, the only daughter of my son Lewellen Jones, now deceased, shall be first the legatee under this will as aforesaid, ..." this goes on to say that money is to be held in trust, until Fanny Allen Jones is married, and has an heir, then she is to receive the funds. If Fanny Allen Jones did not marry and have issue, then the funds were to be left --- "in equal portions to my three grandsons, Stephen, William and Joseph Jones, sons of my son John Jones, now deceased, or to the survivor or survivors of them". Henchia P. Mabry, was named as an alternate administrator, in the event that William H. Haywood, failed to serve as administrator. Witnesses to the will of Joseph Jones, were: S. R. Eggers, K. S.
