Hi List My Samuel Jones was born in Grange, Antrim, 1833 according to LDS but most likely in 1838, going by the later information I found on his life, his father was Richard Jones, Soldier and mother's name was Ann McManus. He married Matilda Allan in Donegore, Antrim in 1858, and their five children were born in various parishes in Antrim. My ggrandmother Matilda was born in 1867, in Carrickfergus. I then find him in Glasgow, Scotland in 1881 and at various addresses in Glasgow until 1903, when he was admitted to Govan Combination Poorhouse, were he lived until his death in 1918. Information from archives states Sam was a Presbyterian widower in 1903 and was stated to be 80 years old when he died. Any Jones' out there with Irish or Scottish connections?
