Hello Jim. Sounds like your family never strayed too far from the old home steads. I am in Newport News, Va. Is your Laura Rawls kin to George Rawls, killed at Antietam in 1862? Do you know where the info on Simon and Mary comes from? I have had Rawls folk tell me the same thing, although the dates are new, but no one knows where it came from. If the stories about the Rawls boys hanging James Alfred are true, I'm surprised there's any mention of James at all. Know anything about that?
