Yes Janet, I have two Jones lines documented back to 1600's, unrelated (so far), however, both of these lines are from the New England area, not sure if you're looking to the VA area specifically. Ralph Jones 1625/1630 Of Barnstable, MA Wife Mary Fuller, 10 children all born in Barnstable, some dates not known for this generation. This line stayed primarily in the Barnstable/Plymouth MA area, although I have not followed it down very far as my family marries out of this line middle 1700's. Capt. Cornelius Jones, Mariner 1693 Of Dighton, Bristol, MA Wife Abigail, 11 children all born in Dighton. This line migrated first to Taunton MA, and then many settled in Maine after the Rev War. I have much info on this line as my grandmother's maiden name was Jones and this is her line. C.
