Looking at JONES history, I see that a Samuel Jones b. 1742 Bucks Co., PA served in the Am Rev. Records show that he received 4,000 acres by Bounty Land Warrant in Ohio, and it's believed that he received another 4,000 in Kentucky. Samuel and his wife Leah moved to Augusta County, VA, part of which is now Greene and Washington Counties, PA. where they lived out their lives. So, if their children (who were born in PA, MD, and VA) went to Ohio and Kentucky to claim this land we can see how our JONES lines can be together and at the same time apart. What a challenge. Julie
