Debbie: The information that your Joneses married a Lott is interesting to me, because that name has popped up in my own Jones research. Haven't been able to connect it to "my" Joneses tho. There were Lott families in Chowan County NC, before Chatham County was formed, which are the counties my Joneses settled in.My great-great grandfather Calvin Sneed Baker Jones(1822-1866) married a Perry. Hey, I think I have talked to you about my Jones/Lott connection a while back.(Dorothy, right?) I don't really know where my family began. I do know that my father had alot of aunt's and uncle's and the same for bro's and sis's. I could very well have Perry member's. Oct 28, 2002 m. 1939/40....his father James Albert Jones....mother Rena Lott (possibly Minnie Lorena Bryant Lott? This name comes from a line of Lott's that I am having a hard time proving that they are connected to Jones)m.Oct 30, 1895. Someone sent me a file that has not one Jones on it, but the birth date and place of Rena could be correct. She is married to someone else in this file and only 4 children. Could be 1st husb.If you can connect these names to you and or Perry, I'll be thrilled.
