My gggrrandfather was John Jones born in VA in 1797. He married Elizabeth ( Betsy ) Malloy in 1821. She also b. in VA. Census records say their parents were also born in VA. Does your wife's ancestry chart mention either of them? Their children were Wm., M.J, Mary, Martha and Sterling and one other son, I think. Thanks for any info you can give me.
