I just found a reference to a Patent transfer in 1717 that lists property owned by Arthur Jones on Folly Branch, Perquimans Precinct (pre-Gates County). In my line I have a Joseph Jones and Amelia Trevathan living in 1806 on property bordering Folly Branch. Does anyone have any information on Arthur or his descendants? Thanks in advance. Elton Jones
