Deb: Yes - I do have a Jones family tree posted. Haven't updated it for a long, long time though! I think that's one of the problems in getting people to correct their gedcoms and websites. Lots of time & work to do it and no one wants to do it often. http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Fields/4395/ Click on Rev. Malachi Jones to get to the page where all the surnames are listed. Maybe one of these days I'll have enough time to update the site! The good part of internet genealogy is connecting to other people researching the same family, the bad part is that inaccurate/faulty data gets uploaded to the web and becomes set in stone. Very hard to convince someone that they are in error. Unfortunately other than writing to them and politely asking for a change there's not much we can do about faulty data. Too bad. Sites like Rootsweb, Ancestry, etc. don't take responsibililty for what a submitter posts and you can't make a change in their data, even if grossly wrong, because it's that person's copywritten data.
