The said Milton Mansfield resides in the County of Platte and State of Nebr. and is age 28 years, was born in Centerville [?], Iowa and is a white person. The father's name of Sarah J. Jones is William E. Jones and the maiden name of the mother is Jane Jones. The said Sarah J. Jones resides in the County of Platte and State of Nebr. is age 22 years, was born in Louisa County, Iowa and is also a white person. And these presents shall be your good and sufficient warrant, and you are required to return this license to me within three months from the celebration of such marriage, with a certificate of the same appended thereto, signed by you, under the penalty of five hundred dollars.
