Dear fellow Jones researchers I need your advice, help anything but criticism. My great aunt Emily Harness born about 1853 in Ark. married James Jones on Nov. 21 1879. He was born abt 1860 in Ark. on his/there marriage license he states he's been on his own since his father's death and hasn't seen his mother since she the fall of 1876 since lives in Pope Co..... Emily had a son Barzela C. Jones born 1875. I have found 20 James Jones in Conway and Pope County. Some Iv been able to follow through the census. Some stayed close to there parents. Iv found no Mom Jones in Pope County that was young enough ( 68-83) or old enough to (7-20) have a child James's age. Iv found no Barzela C. Jones, B. C. Jones, or Emily Jones or Emily Harness wiht a child named Barzela any where. My question is to all of you who know the amount of James Jones's out there is do any of you have some ideas,recomendations ?? anything Im tired of spinning my wheels on thick ice. Thanks Linda

I see your Jones/Harness family in Lick Mountain, Conway, AR in 1880... James, Emily, and Barzela live with Thomas and Rebecca Harness and 3 other Harness kids; next door to Thomas W Harness and his family. dotsicle
