yes, my great grandfather Andrew Jackson Jones lived in Illinois where he married Mary Montgomery , 1861 .he was said to have been born in 1840 in Scott Indiana . I don't have the names of his parents . A J served in the civil War from Ill. After the war he and Mary and five sons moved to Arkansas , where Mary died later in life and A J died at the home of a son in Louisiana . He stated that his father was born in Ga.. Would like to know why his father would have moved from Ga to Ind. or perhaps the mother moved after the death of the father.
