    3. Randy, do you have a Richard Ebenezer or a John Blackston (Blackstone) in your Jones line? Richard Ebenezer and John Blackston(e) Jones were brothers who were born in Georgia and them migrated to Mississippi. RE & John B. named their sons after their brothers, ie, Richard's oldest son was named John Blackston (my GGfather)_ and John Blackston(e)'s son was named Richard E. Richard Ebenezer Jones was born @ 1830 in Georgia; he and John Blackston(e) were married the same day in Muscogee County, GA. Thanks for your help. -----Original Message----- From: Randy Jones [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, June 26, 2005 10:12 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Jones] Alson I also have an Alson Bluford Jones (b.c.1800), son of Benjamin Jones. This Alson had a son Elisha (b.1835), so I wouldn't be surprised if this Alson and the Elisha of Davidson, NC weren't very closely related, perhaps brothers. The family of Alson (1800) moved to Mississippi then Louisiana. -- Randy Jones Wayne Spence <[email protected]> wrote: Interesting that you say you'd not seen the name Alson Jones, but more interesting that I too have an Alson born in 1843 in Stokes County NC, the son of Elisha Jones born 1802 in Davidson, NC. They both end up in Polk and Dallas Counties in Missouri by the 1870's. \^/ayne ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Sunday, June 26, 2005 7:18 PM Subject: Re: [Jones] Alson > Hello Marleen.
