Hi List, I am trying to find the exact death date for Cecil Clifford Laird JONES who died in Memphis, TN. All I have for a date is Aug, 1984. I am wanting to order his death cert. as well as find an obit. Without the day of the month, that would be difficult, especially for the obit. The info for death date and place was taken from the SSDI. He was born in Arkansas, August 19, 1896. That was the last place I had him for sure in the 1920 census. He had a wife named DORA, nee WILLIAMS, but she passed away in 1922 so I am sure he had remarried at least once. Cecil is my husband granduncle. Cecil was the sibling to husband's grandfather, William M. JONES. The names of parents for Cecil were John Washington JONES and Martha Thomas HAMILITON. Thanks for any help you can give.
