I am researching Shadrack Jones MOORE. He was born 1814 in Johnston Co NC. I believe your Shadrack is said to be in Cumberland Co NC. Is there any indication of Moores being related to Shadrack Jones line? I have not been able to find the parents of Shadrack Jones MOORE, nor any of his brothers/sisters, except maybe a brother named Samuel. It would be likely that there was a relationship somewhere given the naming and nearness in NC. Shadrack Jones Moore was a Methodist preacher and married Tacy Jones (no known relationship to Moores) in 1838 Talladega Co AL. They were in Kemper Co MS in 1850. Then they journeyed thru Texas and finally settled in Polk Co. AR where Rev Shadrack Jones Moore died 1894. He named his first two sons Thomas Moore and John Jones Moore. First two daus Tabitha and Emily. Any help would certainly be appreciated. I hope your reunion is a grand success.
