I had the same thing in my Jones line with middle names that were formerly relatives last names. Especially the name Farquhar. I have a Mary Farquhar Jones that married a Robert Maxwell Green. My Jones line has connections to SC and the Green line to GA. Can you go back further on your Jones line?
