Hello, Do you know what part of Arkansas William Franklin Jones lived in? I am also looking for information on a Jones line that moved from AL to AR. My g-g-grandmother's name on her marriage record was Christiana Jones, age 31, when she married William S. Fredrick in Pocahontas, Randolph Co., AR in 1863. Some census records show her birthplace as AL. I was sent info by another researcher that a William Jones Jr. and Isham Jones were living in Columbia Twp in 1860, and later moved to Little Black Twp, Randolph Co., AR. Also looking for info on Joseph B. Jones and George M. Jones who were living in Little Black Twp in 1861 when they, along with William S. Fredrick, joined Captain Ballard's 30 Day Volunteers Infantry (Nov. 17. 1861 to Dec. 17, 1861). Since my g-g-grandmother Christiana Jones was 31 when she married William S. Fredrick, I don't know if she was a spinster or a widow when she married. I am trying to find out if she was related to any of the other Jones in the area.
