Hi Sandy, Several "reports" I found on Ancestry.com showed Hardin Jones as having been born in Madison Co, KY. However, I didn't record and don't remember seeing any sources cited for this information. I do know that from about 1775 on a lot of people flowed west to Madison & Jessamine Co, KY (immediate vicinity of Boonesboro) then in the 1820's and 30's, the migration moved further west into Missouri (many to Boone Co, Mo.).
