My ancestor was Joseph JONES (1801-1870), a convict from London transported to Port Jackson (Sydney, NSW, Australia) on the ship “Hadlow (1)” in 1818, having been convicted of burgulariously breaking and entering at the Old Bailey in London in April 1818. His Parents were John JONES (1773-…..) and Hannah (Ann Levena) SWINNEY (1773-…..).
