My ancestor was Joseph JONES (1801-1870), a convict from London transported to Port Jackson (Sydney, NSW, Australia) on the ship “Hadlow (1)” in 1818, having been convicted of burgulariously breaking and entering at the Old Bailey in London in April 1818. His Parents were John JONES (1773-…..) and Hannah (Ann Levena) SWINNEY (1773-…..). Apart from Michael, who may or may not belong, and may have been christened elsewhere, their children were all christened in Saint Andrews Anglican Church in Holborn, London on the dates indicated below: c.1799??
